Today I’m giving away this wooden pot stirrer. I’m sure it has a proper name but I don’t know what it is. I got it from that wonderful wooden spoon carving guy at One of a Kind many years ago. I have a few of his spoons and I love them. You can feel his handiwork when you pick them up. This one was a mistake though. It’s quite large and very awkward and heavy. It would be great if you were dying vats of clothing or made huge pots of chili. I do neither. I never use it and it’s taking up space in the ice bucket I use to contain my kitchen implements. Also it’s so tall, it means I can’t tuck the budget under the overhead cabinets. Without this guy – the bucket slides right in and gives me more valuable counter space.
It’s going in the family box for my cloth dying sister.

God, your family are into some interesting things.
true – I am really lucky
