Today I’m giving away these three plastic skirt hangers/pant hangers. I like good hangers. Your clothes last longer and need less care if they have good hangers and these are okay. Last year, one of my favourite stores closed for good and in a final shopping trip they gave me a pile of branded wooden hangers, which they did for all of their last customers. These plastic hangers have been empty ever since. They clatter around and fall off the rod when I go into my closet or move things around, so I’m getting rid of them.
I’m giving them to my sister for her clothing exchange. For years, she’s hosted an exchange in her neighbourhood for all her friends. Her husband and kids leave the house for the night and she and her friends have a great time eating and drinking, trying on clothes, and encouraging each other to stretch their style. She uses a lot of hangers for that event so I’m pretty sure she’ll be happy to have these.

Your sister’s making out like a bandit. You’re lucky. I’m an only child. If I’m ever going to get rid of stuff like you are, I may need to borrow your siblings.
Ha – it looks that way doesn’t it? I actually have four sisters, so when I’m referring to my sister, it’s one of the four. Deceptive I know, but I didn’t want to use their names – since it’s my choice to advertise my junk on the internet, not theirs.
very true!
