Today I’m giving away this egg poaching pot and lid. It’s another single use kitchen purchase that takes up space. I bought it about 15 years ago and ate poached eggs for about 3 months, then I stopped eating poached eggs, then I started again using the old vinegar in water method. Now, I pretty much focus on boiled eggs and toast. Six and a half minutes for a large perfect organic egg, hard white, soft yolk, the best breakfast in the world. Plus, I sort of feel like I’m eating an egg from McDonald’s when it’s perfectly shaped. This pot is too large for something that doesn’t get used in my kitchen, displacing other tools that I like and use all the time, so it has to go.
I’m giving it to my vegetarian (but egg eating) sister and her partner. She said that with a pan like this she can assign him egg poaching duties when they have brunch parties. They have a lot of brunch parties so she’s really happy. She is also loving this blog because she’s been the recipient of many of my give aways. Everybody wins.

Ha! I had one of those too. Gave mine away too.
